Like many professional service providers, our starting point for determining fees is hourly rates.
For the period from November 1, 2024 – October 31, 2025, the hourly rates of our lawyers range from $420 – $685, and the hourly rates for our non-lawyer professionals range from $260 – $360. While we are very careful and deliberate in our work, we strive to do our clients’ work efficiently and pragmatically — and without over-planning — so that the scope of our work is driven by the value added.
Relative to other law firms in the Chicago metropolitan area, our fees tend to be in the upper middle range: higher than those of most small practitioners (particularly general practitioners in the suburbs), but lower than those of most large downtown firms. As a result, we are not the right fit for those looking for the lowest-cost option, but we often are an excellent fit for those desiring extensive expertise and would prefer to work with a small, boutique firm in the suburbs rather than a large downtown firm.
